Prof. Dr. Frank Überall (born in 1971) teaches media and social sciences at the HMKW University of Media, Communication and Business (Cologne / Berlin). His focus is the political behavioral theory in connection with structures of the public. After a study of political science, pedagogy and history in Cologne Überall received a doctorate for „Klüngel in der politischen Kultur Kölns“ with Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Wehling in Tübingen. As author of non-fiction books Überall wrote among other about corruption, resignation of politicians and right-wing extremism. He works as a freelance journalist mainly for radio and television at the public broadcasters WDR and ARD as well as for daily newspapers and on-line medias. For twelve years he reported for the German press agency (dpa). In November 2015 he was elected President of the German Federation of Journalists (DJV). You can find him on the Internet under
